Dr. Jennifer Stepp received a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry, graduating with honors, before earning her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 2012. She also completed a fellowship at the National Institutes of Health researching genetics and behavior, co-authoring several scientific publications resulting from this work.
Dr. Stepp’s special professional interests include endocrinology, dermatology, surgery, dentistry, preventative health, and reproductive medicine. She has practiced general and emergency medicine and owned and operated a successful small animal general practice for several years. She’s also served as the medical director of a local small animal practice.
Dr. Stepp believes that pets are beloved family members and strives to protect and preserve the health and happiness of each patient and their families. Professional memberships include the American Veterinary Medical Association, the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians, and the Society for Theriogenology.
