Our plans include the key services needed for a thorough preventive dental procedure, from professional cleaning and full-mouth dental radiographs to anesthesia, monitoring, and recovery care. They’re designed for preventive maintenance—not treatment of existing dental disease—so your pet can receive routine care before more significant dental problems develop.
What’s Included in Our Dental Care Plans?
Every Pleasant Pet Care Preventive Dental Care Plan includes:
Professional Dental Cleaning
A thorough professional cleaning, or prophylaxis, removes plaque and tartar from above and below your pet’s gumline.
Complete Oral Examination
We carefully evaluate your pet’s teeth, gums, and other oral tissues as part of the dental procedure.
Full-Mouth Dental Radiographs
Much of your pet’s dental health is hidden below the gumline. Digital dental X-rays allow our veterinary team to evaluate the tooth roots and look for disease that may not be visible during an oral examination.
Anesthetic Monitoring & Recovery Care
Your pet is continuously monitored while under anesthesia and receives attentive care throughout recovery until they are awake and safe.
General Anesthesia
Anesthesia allows our team to safely and thoroughly examine, clean, and image your pet’s mouth while keeping your dog or cat comfortable throughout the procedure.
Dental Home-Care Support
Your plan also includes tools and guidance to help you support your pet’s oral health between professional dental visits.
Preventive Care,
Not a Treatment Plan
Our Dental Care Plans are intended for routine preventive dental maintenance. If we discover dental disease or another condition requiring additional treatment during your pet’s procedure, our team will contact you to discuss what we found and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
You’ll receive an estimate to review before any additional treatment is performed.
Dental Care Plans for Cats
Cats can be especially good at hiding discomfort, making routine oral care an important part of supporting their health and quality of life.
Our feline Preventive Dental Care Plan includes the professional cleaning, full-mouth dental radiographs, anesthesia, complete oral examination, monitoring and recovery care, and home-care support described above.
The cost of your cat’s preventive dental plan is divided into six monthly payments, with a $15 enrollment fee.
Dental Care Plans for Dogs
Dogs of every size can benefit from proactive dental care, which is why Pleasant Pet Care offers preventive plans based on your dog’s weight:
- Small Dogs: 0–40 lb
- Medium Dogs: 40–80 lb
- Large Dogs: 80–120 lb
- Extra-Large Dogs: 120+ lb
Each dog plan includes the same comprehensive preventive dental services, with the plan structured according to your dog’s size.
Dog plans are also paid over six monthly payments and have a $15 enrollment fee.
Easier Budgeting for Your Pet’s Dental Care
Preventive dental care is an important investment in your pet’s health, and our plans are designed to make that care easier to budget for. Instead of paying the entire plan cost at once, you’ll make six monthly payments.
Included plan services must be used within 12 months of enrollment.
